History: In South East Asia, a malevolent sorcerer has noticed that someone is holding the amulet of an old compatriot of his. Feeling miffed, he decides to implore an old tactic he and his friend used to terrorize villages a long time ago. Namely, summon a sh*t-ton of centipedes poisonous to the touch to kill anyone in their path.
Notable Kills: Imagine these venomous beasts crawling all over you. It ain't fun...
Final Fate: The wizard's rampage is put to an end when a better magic wielder kills him, causing the centipedes to go belly up and die. Though traces of the curse still remain to some extent...
Powers/Abilities: Incredibly venomous and poisonous.
Weakness: If the wizard dies, so do the centipedes.
Scariness Factor: 4-We don't wince too much if say, cockroaches were swarming the place. But how about a bunch of toxic terrors specifically designed to kill people. Does that sound like a good time to you? It doesn't help that most of the centipedes on camera are very much real.
Trivia: -In Japanese mythology, centipedes often represent pure evil. The particularly big ones there are referred to as "mukade".
-While centipedes are venomous, the bites are not usually fatal. That doesn’t mean you shouldn't exercise caution though, as a bite can cause ceaseless agony for a while.
